Ethereum Dominates Blockchain Development Metrics Amidst Declines

Developer activity has long been considered an essential metric to gauge the health of a blockchain network. According to data from Santiment, the top blockchains by developer activity are Ethereum and BNB Chain. Over the past 30 days, these two platforms have seen significant declines in their respective metrics.

Ethereum tops the list with 263.3K developer activity events, but this represents a 40.29% drop from the previous period. The number of contributors has also decreased by 13.23%, with only 1.1K contributors over the past month. BNB Chain follows closely behind, with 121.8K developer activity events and a contributor decrease of 17.62%

Polygon ranks third on the list, with 100.4K developer activity events and a 40.85% decline. Arbitrum takes fourth place, with 79K events and a 45.22% drop in contributors.
