Ethereum Dominates Tokenized Credit Fund Market with $7.29 Billion in Value
The tokenized credit fund market has reached a distributed value of $7.29 billion, with Ethereum holding a significant share of 42.9%.
This growth can be attributed to clearer regulatory frameworks in major jurisdictions and the emergence of institutional-grade products such as Securitize's STAC AAA CLO fund, built on Ethereum with custody from BNY Mellon.
Other platforms like Centrifuge, Maple Finance, and Hastra are also contributing to the sector's growth by offering crypto-native lending, real-world credit origination, and specialty asset pools.
While Solana and Provenance have carved out portions of the market with faster transaction speeds and lower costs, Ethereum remains the dominant force due to its ability to finalize transactions in minutes compared to traditional CLO trades which can take days.
