Ethereum ETF Inflows Soar as Bitcoin Funds See Massive Outflows
The Ethereum ETFs have continued to attract significant net inflows as the underlying asset attempts to extend its rally. This is in contrast to Bitcoin funds, which saw over $460 million leave them in a week.
Last week was particularly positive for ETH ETFs, coinciding with an eight-month high surge. The exchange-traded funds tracking Ethereum's performance turned red only once since mid-August, with modest outflows of $2.26 million in that instance.
BTC ETFs, on the other hand, saw a stark turnaround after their best week in months between August 17 and 21, where they attracted over $1.9 billion as BTC's price soared from under $65,000 to almost $80,000. However, last week saw net outflows of $462.73 million.
The trend change for BTC ETFs may be attributed to the volatile end of the week, which included a drop in price from $77,000 to $76,000 before surging to $79,800 and returning to its starting point.
