The US Securities and Exchange Commission has given its approval to spot Ethereum Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), marking a significant milestone for the crypto industry.

Anthony Pompliano, CEO of Professional Capital Management, shared his thoughts on CNBC's Squawk Box, praising Bitcoin ETFs' impact but expressing doubts about Ethereum's success.

Pompliano described Bitcoin ETFs as 'probably the best ETF launch in history,' citing their substantial inflows and noting that the BlackRock Bitcoin ETF has attracted more investment than the QQQ year-to-date.

However, he believes Ethereum ETFs will not match this level of success, attributing it to a lack of narrative around Ethereum, which is seen as a technology platform with 'a lot more competition' compared to Bitcoin's digital gold status.
