Ethereum Exchange Supply Hits Multi-Year Low Amid Institutional Demand
The supply of Ethereum on all cryptocurrency exchanges has reached a multi-year low of approximately 14.88 million ETH as of September 8, 2026. This decline marks a significant drop from the over 21.3 million ETH recorded in July 2025.
This reduction coincides with increased institutional demand for Ethereum. According to recent data, there has been a net inflow of $2.345 billion into U.S. spot ETH ETFs and a rise in staked ETH to 43.1 million, representing 35.91% of circulating supply.
Analyst Ali Martinez highlights strong support at $2,475 and resistance near $2,723, suggesting that if the supply squeeze continues, there may be potential for Ethereum prices to rally.
