Ethereum (ETH) exchange balances have continued to decline over the past three weeks, in contrast to Bitcoin's increase. This trend has been ongoing for eleven weeks, with approximately 1.15 million ETH leaving exchanges.

The data from Santiment shows that while Bitcoin saw an influx of about 23,000 BTC (around $72,509) back onto trading platforms between July 28 and August 18, Ethereum balances fell by around 2.2% over the same period.

Staking activity on Ethereum remains at record levels, with corporate treasuries also adding to their holdings of the altcoin. Notably, BitMine Immersion Technologies holds close to 5% of the total supply, with most of it staked.
