Ethereum Eyes $2,000 Mark as Recovery Continues
Ethereum's price has been steadily climbing since June, reaching $1,921 at the time of writing. The cryptocurrency has staged a significant recovery, with higher lows forming on the chart and the daily RSI at around 60, indicating that momentum is firmly in favor of buyers.
The immediate challenge for Ethereum is to break above the psychologically significant $2,000 mark, which has proven to be a technical ceiling. Above this level, the next major hurdle sits at $2,400, followed by $2,600.
Analysts are cautiously optimistic about Ethereum's prospects, with some forecasts pointing towards a breakout above $2,000 and potentially reaching $4,000 or higher if the monthly close is above $2,050. However, losing $1,800 on a daily close would be a warning sign that the recovery is unwinding.
