Ethereum Eyes Breakout Above $2.5K as Consolidation Continues
Ethereum is attempting to turn its recent consolidation into a continuation setup. On the daily chart, ETH has held significant gains from the August breakout and has not experienced a meaningful retracement despite testing the $2.43K-$2.52K area multiple times.
The current range is centered around the $2.45K-$2.52K resistance zone, with Ethereum trading near $2.52K. A convincing daily breakout above this region would strengthen the bullish structure and potentially open the way for higher prices, with the next major resistance visible at $2.92K-$3.03K.
However, ETH still needs to establish acceptance above the current resistance level. Failure to do so could leave Ethereum vulnerable to another rotation within the range, with support areas below at $2.05K-$2.14K and moving averages gradually turning higher beneath the price.
