The Ethereum Foundation has appointed Pascal Caversaccio to its board of directors for a one-year voluntary term. Caversaccio, also known as pcaversaccio, is the co-founder and lead of SEAL 911, a free emergency service that provides around-the-clock incident response and reporting, protecting more than $180 million in assets.

Caversaccio's appointment brings additional expertise to the Ethereum Foundation's board, which now consists of four members: Vitalik Buterin, Aya Miyaguchi, Patrick Storchenegger, and Caversaccio. The Foundation has emphasized its focus on privacy, security, and censorship resistance in recent months.

SEAL 911 has handled over 3,300 tickets, coordinated more than 125 war rooms, and helped rescue over $180 million in assets through their incident response services. This experience will likely inform Caversaccio's work on the Ethereum Foundation's board.
