Ethereum Foundation Backs HK Blockchain Privacy Tech Workshop

The Ethereum Foundation has announced its sponsorship of the WPPT 2026 workshop in Hong Kong. This event focuses on developing privacy-preserving technologies for blockchain, a key area of interest for the foundation.

The workshop aims to advance zero-knowledge proofs and enhance protocol privacy, addressing the transparency-privacy tradeoff in Ethereum.

Hong Kong Polytechnic University's blockchain research and related events are also being supported by the Ethereum Foundation, as part of its efforts to foster innovation in Ethereum's privacy features.
