Ethereum Foundation Bolsters Privacy Push with SEAL 911 Co-Founder

The Ethereum Foundation has strengthened its focus on privacy and security by appointing Pascal Caversaccio, co-founder of crypto security response group SEAL 911, to its board.

Caversaccio will serve an initial one-year term in a voluntary capacity, expanding the foundation's board to four members: Executive Director Aya Miyaguchi, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, Swiss legal counsel Patrick Storchenegger, and Caversaccio.

The Ethereum Foundation emphasizes that privacy and security are 'non-negotiable protocol guarantees,' and is pursuing research on Layer 1 privacy and quantum-resistant security through changes to the Ethereum protocol.
