Ethereum Foundation Rates 62 Proposals Ahead of Hegotá Upgrade

The Ethereum Foundation has released ratings for 62 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) ahead of the planned Hegotá network upgrade, scheduled for 2027. The evaluations were based on 397 assessments from about 60 protocol experts across nine teams.

The goal is to prioritize which proposals may be included in the upgrade and make Ethereum's Layer 1 network resistant to quantum computer attacks by December 2029, aligning with emerging U.S. federal cryptography standards.
