Ethereum Foundation Undergoes Organizational Overhaul Amid Institutional Adoption Surge
The Ethereum Foundation has undergone significant organizational changes in its 11th year. According to Odaily, leadership departures and layoffs have taken place, alongside the launch of new CROPS authorizations.
In addition, EthLabs, Ethereum Systems, and Ethereum Institutional have been spun off into independent entities as part of efforts to further decentralize the Foundation's role within the ecosystem.
The changes come as Ethereum continues to advance both technically and institutionally. The Fusaka upgrade has been launched, and participation from Wall Street institutions such as BlackRock and JPMorgan has been secured.
Total net inflows into US spot Ethereum ETFs have exceeded $11.23 billion in the same period, a significant milestone for institutional adoption of the asset.
