Ethereum Founders Diversify After Blockchain's $230 Billion Milestone
The Ethereum protocol celebrated its Genesis Block anniversary on July 30, marking 11 years since its creation.
The blockchain has grown to become the second most important in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, with a market capitalization of over $230 billion according to CoinGecko.
While many have profited from Ethereum's success, its eight official founders have largely moved on. Only Vitalik Buterin remains deeply involved with the project and the Ethereum Foundation.
Vitalik Buterin has faced criticism for not doing enough to support the project or boost its price.
