Ethereum Futures Contract Offers Payouts Up to $2.35 per Dollar
The cryptocurrency market has been abuzz with speculation about Ethereum's (ETH) price on August 21, 2026. A futures contract offered by Robinhood Derivatives, LLC allows investors to bet on whether ETH will reach certain price thresholds at a specific time. The contract resolves on the designated date and payout is usually made within an hour of event resolution.
The contract specifies that if ETH is above $2,210, owners receive 97 cents per contract. If it reaches $2,350 or higher, investors get 92 cents per contract. However, if the price surpasses $2,590, the payout drops to 4 cents per contract.
Investors should be aware of the risks associated with futures contracts and trading prohibitions apply. Persons employed by certain agencies and those holding material non-public information on ETH are not permitted to trade on this contract.
