Ethereum Hints at Strong August Gains Amid Double-Bottom Reversal
Ethereum's August performance is on track to be positive, with historical data suggesting a strong likelihood of gains. According to data from CoinGlass, in three out of four instances where Ethereum's July was positive, its August followed suit, resulting in an average return of +18.10% and a median return of +22.05%. This is significantly stronger than the unconditional August record for Ethereum, which shows an average gain of 7.39% but a median loss of 4.54%.
The chart also shows a potential double-bottom reversal on Ether's daily chart after forming two comparable lows near $1,520 in June and July. The breakout above the pattern's neckline around $1,805 strengthens the bullish case, with the measured move pointing toward the $2,100-$2,180 region, including the 200-day simple moving average near $2,111.
