Ethereum Holds Crucial Support Level, Eyes Bullish Breakout to $2,500
Ethereum's price has been holding onto its vital support level of $1,800 despite weakening buying sentiment in recent trading periods.
According to crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe, maintaining this level is crucial for a bullish market structure, which could pave the way for Ethereum to return to $2,000 and potentially reach the $2,300-$2,500 region if buy-side interest improves.
The current technical indicators suggest that the rally is slowing down rather than picking up speed. The RSI is holding above the neutral 50 level, but its moving average has decreased, indicating a leveling out of momentum.
Additionally, the MACD shows a conservative scenario with a negative histogram, suggesting that sellers still have an edge despite the lack of heavy sell-off.
