Ethereum Hovers Near $5,000 as AlphaPepe Presale Heats Up
Ethereum is back in focus after breaking above $2,500 in recent trading sessions. The altcoin gained nearly 5% in one session, with fresh bullish calls rekindling debate about its potential to reach $5,000.
The target has been mentioned as a possibility by some market analysts, including Arthur Hayes, who sees Ethereum reaching $10,000 by the end of 2026. Standard Chartered also predicts a year-end price of $7,500 for ETH. While these forecasts indicate that $5,000 could be a meaningful intermediate level rather than an overly aggressive target, Ethereum still needs to overcome significant hurdles.
AlphaPepe, another cryptocurrency in the market, is approaching its presale from a different angle. ALPE is currently priced at $0.02902, with over $2.59 million raised and more than 11,500 holders before it enters public trading on a DEX. The token is connected to an AI-focused decentralized exchange called AlphaSwap, which aims to provide traders with advanced analytics and pre-swap intelligence.
AlphaPepe's partnership with LATOKEN and the results of its smart-contract audits by BlockSAFU and Coinsult have strengthened its setup. With Stage 20 nearing sellout, potential buyers are urged to act quickly before the presale closes in Q1 2027 and public trading begins.
