Ethereum Institutional Closes First Funding Round with Over 100 Participants
Ethereum Institutional, an organization aimed at driving institutional adoption of Ethereum, has closed its first funding round. Over 100 companies and individuals participated in the round.
The organization's goal is to create a single point of entry for banks, companies, and institutions wanting to operate within the Ethereum ecosystem or add support for its solutions and services.
The first funding round was led by BitMine, SharpLink, and Ethereum co-founders Joe Lubin and Mihai Alisie. Notable participants include 21Shares, Aave, Circle, Curve Finance, Robinhood, Uniswap Labs, Securitize, and ENS Labs.
The organization plans to focus on working directly with companies and institutions to implement Ethereum, promoting specific use cases such as tokenization, and identifying key areas of interest.
