Ethereum Institutional Completes Seed Funding Round with Support from BitMine and Ethereum Co-Founders
Ethereum Institutional, an institutional-grade Ethereum ecosystem service provider, has completed its seed funding round. The investment was led by BitMine and SharpLink, along with co-founders Joseph Lubin and Mihai Alisie of Ethereum.
The funds will be used to accelerate work on tokenization, stablecoins, and bringing market infrastructure on-chain. Ethereum Institutional aims to strengthen direct engagement with banks, asset management firms, custodians, market infrastructure providers, fintech companies, and sovereign institutions in the coming months.
The institution will advance concrete work on tokenization, stablecoins, market infrastructure, and on-chain settlement. It also plans to expand key business areas such as institutional education, market intelligence, and ecosystem marketing.
