Ethereum Institutions Favored Over Bitcoin as ETF Inflows Reach $11.19 Billion

Institutional investors appear to be favoring Ethereum (ETH) over Bitcoin (BTC), as recent data suggests that ETH spot ETFs have continued to attract significant inflows. Over the past three trading sessions, these funds absorbed around $96 million before adding another $9.23 million on July 27th. This brings the cumulative net inflows to approximately $11.19 billion and total net assets to $10.65 billion.

BlackRock's ETHA ETF accounted for the latest $11.7 million inflow, solidifying its role as a key driver of demand. In contrast, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded an $11.64 million net outflow over the same period. Rather than exiting digital assets altogether, institutions appear to be reallocating capital toward Ethereum, indicating growing conviction in ETH's medium-term investment outlook.

Ethereum's expanding financial ecosystem continues to set the benchmark for institutional digital asset adoption. The network's increasing usage and demand drivers, such as staking, stablecoins, tokenized assets, and DeFi, suggest that institutions increasingly value Ethereum's utility over price exposure alone. This is reflected in the growing adoption of on-chain finance, with a $14.7 billion tokenized real-world asset market.
