Ethereum, Kaspa, and NEAR Show Technical Signs of Breakouts
Ethereum, Kaspa, and NEAR are showing technical signs of potential breakouts according to KuCoin's analysis. The three altcoins have compressed volatility after long periods of pressure.
The Ethereum price is near $2,265 after a major correction from the $4,956 peak. It reclaimed the important $2,200 support shelf and is now facing resistance around $2,701 before reaching $3,400 to $3,600. A break below $2,200 could expose support near $1,600.
Kaspa has a mature falling wedge structure on its weekly chart, which can signal a potential upside reversal after prolonged selling. A confirmed breakout could push KAS toward $0.054 initially, with the next major target at $0.075.
NEAR is targeting a major trendline break, which could open the path toward $3.30 and potentially $8. The project's strong AI-focused narrative, including its 2026 roadmap to scale to one million transactions per second, adds to its technical picture.
