Ethereum Network Activity Surges 45% as Bulls Eye $3,500 Breakout
Ethereum network activity has experienced a significant surge in recent weeks, with daily transaction counts increasing by nearly 45% to approximately 870,000. This growth reflects growing engagement across decentralized applications and DeFi protocols as Ethereum trades above $3,200.
The expansion in Ethereum network activity began on December 29, when daily total transfer counts reached around 1.06 million transactions. Since then, activity has remained elevated, fluctuating near the 900,000 level rather than reverting to previous baselines.
This persistence suggests that the spike was not driven by a single event but marks a structural shift in network usage. Rising transaction volume indicates network health and organic demand, particularly during consolidation phases when price-driven speculation recedes.
