Ethereum Open Interest Surges 8.12% in 24 Hours

Data from Coinglass shows that Ethereum's total open interest in contracts across the network has increased by 8.12% in the past 24 hours.

The current total open interest stands at $30.521 billion, with one exchange holding a significant portion of $8.166 billion, followed closely by another exchange with $1.601 billion and then two other exchanges with $2.041 billion and $2.566 billion respectively.

This development has raised questions about the future direction of Ethereum's price and trading activity.
