Ethereum Outshines Bitcoin with 4% Price Surge
Ethereum's price surged by about 4% on July 27, outperforming Bitcoin which gained around 1.4%. This significant rally has caught the attention of analysts who are tracking both price technicals and capital flows.
The Ethereum price movement was driven by three key factors: sustained ETF inflows, staking supply limits, and the AiFi narrative. Ethereum's recent outperformance over the broader market reflects a combination of institutional capital, supply mechanics, and a strong narrative.
Ethereum ETFs have experienced sustained inflows since July 11, ending eight consecutive weeks of net outflows. On July 23, ETH ETFs marked their fifth consecutive day of net inflows, according to SoSoValue data.
The second driver behind the Ethereum rally was staking dynamics. More investors were entering Ethereum staking than leaving on July 27, with validators locking more ETH. This reduces the supply of ETH available for selling in the market, limiting sell-side movement.
