Ethereum Overtakes All Major Blockchains with Record-Breaking Wallet Count

Ethereum's user adoption has surpassed all other major blockchains, with over 182 million non-empty wallets.

This is more than three times the number of Bitcoin wallets, which stands at around 59 million.

The data from Santiment shows that Ethereum's growth in wallet count has been exponential, surpassing Bitcoin's back in 2019 and continuing to accelerate since then.

Ethereum's lead is largely attributed to its smart-contract functionality, which supports a wide range of decentralized finance applications and tokens.
