Ethereum Poised for Major Gains Against Bitcoin on Institutional Tailwinds
Tom Lee, managing partner at Fundstrat and chairman of BitMine Immersion (BMNR), believes Ethereum (ETH) is poised for significant gains against Bitcoin (BTC). According to him, the tailwinds for ETH are stronger than ever, driven by Wall Street's increasing use of blockchain technology.
Lee points out that in previous cycles, the ETH/BTC ratio saw substantial increases due to Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and stablecoins. This time around, he expects a larger move higher, fueled by institutional adoption and artificial intelligence integration.
The current ETH/BTC ratio is 0.02964 BTC ($1,906). Historically, the ratio has increased during bull markets as Ethereum's use cases expand relative to Bitcoin.
