Ethereum Poised to Dominate Tokenization and AI Infrastructure
Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of Bitmine, predicts that Ethereum will dominate blockchain infrastructure for tokenization and AI within a decade. Speaking on the Bankless podcast, Lee stated, 'We are betting everything in tokenization and AI will happen on Ethereum.'
Lee's confidence stems from Ethereum's established position as the leading smart contract platform, with the largest developer ecosystem, most active decentralized applications, and highest total value locked in DeFi protocols. This network effect makes Ethereum the natural foundation for the coming wave of tokenized assets and AI-driven applications.
Bitmine, a company traditionally associated with Bitcoin mining, is pivoting its strategy to support Ethereum's growth. Lee emphasized that Bitmine's legacy infrastructure and expertise could be leveraged to support Ethereum's ecosystem, potentially through staking services, layer-2 solutions, or other infrastructure roles.
