Ethereum Price Compression Signals Imminent Breakout or Breakdown
Ethereum's price action has compressed near the $2,000 level as declining volatility and fading momentum point to an imminent breakout or breakdown.
Analyst CyrilXBT noted that ETH briefly touched $2,400 in mid-March but failed to sustain its rally. Since then, the price has trended lower toward the 200 EMA near $2,104.
The moving average now acts as a key level of support, and Ethereum's price is squeezing into a tighter range between $1,800 and $2,300-$2,500.
A daily close above $2,200 would be the first credible sign of strength for ETH. Without it, the outlook remains neutral, with the $2,000 level serving as the next test if buyers lose their grip.
