Ethereum Price Dives Below $2K After Brief Rally Fails
Ethereum's brief rally to $2,089 fizzled out, sending the token price plummeting below the $2,000 mark. The sudden reversal saw ETH fall to around $1,960, with key support at $1,932 and resistance at $2,050 defining the short-term range.
The price drop was a sharp decline from its session high of $2,089, which was quickly reversed as bears regained control. Technical indicators have shifted into bearish territory, with the hourly MACD gaining momentum in the bearish zone and the RSI falling below 50.
While some analysts believe that if ETH holds above $1,920, bulls may attempt another push toward $2,050 and $2,080, a failure to clear this level could trigger a decline toward the $1,932 support zone. This would align with the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level and potentially expose ETH to further downside targets at $1,895, $1,850, and $1,820.
