Ethereum Price Drops to $1,900 as Cycle Bottom Hopes Rise
Ethereum's price has dropped to $1,900, sparking hopes that it may be nearing a cycle bottom. According to CryptoQuant, ETH is trading 17% below its realized price, which is around $2,300. Historically, such periods have indicated undervaluation and a cycle bottom.
While Ethereum outperformed Bitcoin over the past month, gaining 19.7% compared to BTC's 11.7%, analysts warn that only two of five key metrics have reached previous reversal levels. This suggests that a confirmed bottom isn't in yet.
The ratio of ETH's price to its realized price and relative spot trading volumes have already hit historical levels, signaling weaker speculative interest consistent with past bottoms. However, other metrics are improving but not yet showing final capitulation.
