Ethereum Price Faces Crucial Support Test as EIP-8288 Remains in Draft
Ethereum's price has been holding steady around $2,465, with a crucial support level at $2,438. However, this stability is juxtaposed with an upcoming test of resistance near $2,600.
The Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 8288 remains in draft form, despite being merged into the EIP repository on September 9. This proposal aims to reduce the cost of quantum-resistant signatures and cryptographic proofs by allowing transactions to declare these as dependencies, which can then be combined into a single recursive proof.
Vitalik Buterin has expressed hope that EIP-8288 will be considered for the I-star fork after Hegota, describing it as a next step after Frames. However, no activation date has been set, and its draft status limits what traders can price in today.
