Ethereum Price Holds Firm Above $1,900 Amid Record Network Activity
Ethereum's price continued to hold above $1,900 on August 9, 2026, as traders watched the $2,000 resistance level. TradingView's Bitstamp chart showed Ethereum's price near $1,922 during afternoon trading.
The move followed stronger Ethereum network activity and unusually low transaction costs. Etherscan showed Ethereum processing millions of transactions daily while average transaction fees remained low.
CoinGecko data placed Ethereum's price within a $1,911 to $1,924 daily range. The price had closed near $1,915 yesterday, leaving the market slightly above the $1,900 level that several traders track.
Some analysts, such as Ted Pillows, expect Ethereum to move above $2,000 if the $1,900 support zone remains intact. However, a sustained break below support would weaken the setup and potentially expose lower levels of $1,869 and $1,801.
