Ethereum Price Holds Firm at $2,450 Amid Ongoing Leverage

Ethereum's price held steady at around $2,450 after a sharp rejection from an intraday spike above $2,470 on August 30. This pullback came after a rapid rebound from the $2,400 area.

Derivatives data showed that leverage remained active without extreme funding rates linked to past forced selloffs. The moderate funding profile reduced immediate liquidation risk but did not eliminate downside exposure.

The asset's price still faced nearby resistance after failing to hold the latest intraday surge. TradingView data showed Ethereum trading near $2,459 on Bitstamp during August 30, with a gain of about 28% over one month despite remaining lower year-to-date.

CoinGlass data placed Ethereum near $2,457, with roughly $14.67 billion in 24-hour futures volume and open interest standing at around $32.35 billion across tracked derivatives venues.
