Ethereum Price Holds Steady at $1,910 Amid Shift in Crypto Market
The Ethereum price has held steady at around $1,910 on August 7, 2026, according to current market data. This stability comes as the second-largest cryptocurrency has benefited from a recent shift in the wider crypto market following the July U.S. jobs report.
The report showed that the economy lost 23,000 jobs versus forecasts of about 80,000 gains, with unemployment at 4.1%. This softer labor data makes another Fed rate hike harder to justify, and futures now price in roughly a 56% chance of a pause at the September 16 meeting.
Ethereum has additional demand drivers of its own, including staking, spot ETH ETF flows, and activity across its layer-2 networks and stablecoin ecosystem. Despite this, Ethereum remains well below its 2025 high near $5,000.
