Ethereum Price on Verge of Breakout as 116K ETH Exits Exchanges

A significant amount of Ethereum (ETH) has been withdrawn from centralized exchanges in recent days, raising hopes for a price breakout. According to data from CoinGecko, over 116,000 ETH worth approximately $300 million moved out of exchanges within the past 48 hours.

This development is seen as a positive sign by analysts, who believe it could reduce selling pressure on the market and lead to higher prices. However, Ethereum's price remains below an important resistance area around $2,530-$2,540, which needs to be reclaimed for a sustained breakout.

The current technical setup suggests that ETH is caught between support and resistance levels. A fair value gap exists between $2,480 and $2,520, making this area a possible retest zone. If Ethereum's price can move above the $2,530-$2,540 range, it could improve its short-term prospects.
