Roninhood's Crypto Prediction Market is offering a contract that bets on the price of Ethereum (ETH) at a specific time in the future. The market predicts ETH will be priced above $2,430 or below $2,425 on August 29, 2026, at 11am EDT.
The contract uses data from CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI), which collects 60 prices in the last minute before expiration and averages them to determine the official price. If a trader's prediction is correct, they will receive $1 for every contract they own. However, if their position remains open at the time of resolution, they may incur additional fees.
Traders should be aware that those employed by certain agencies or holding material information about Ethereum are prohibited from participating in this contract.
