Ethereum Price Predictions: Analysts Weigh in on ETH's Future Performance
Ethereum's (ETH) price has been making waves in the crypto space, and analysts are weighing in on its future performance. According to VanEck's Matthew Sigel, Ethereum's path to five figures depends on Layer-2 scaling and institutional smart contract adoption, pulling value back to the mainnet. He views ETH as a cash-producing settlement asset rather than a speculative token.
However, not everyone shares Sigel's optimism. A Twitter user with the handle @BuryCrypto expressed doubts about the $11,800 price prediction by 2030, stating that they believe it's slightly high and more realistic to expect a price of around $7,000-$8,000.
In the near term, Ethereum's price is facing resistance at $2,600, with support sitting at $2,380-$2,430. A clean weekly close above $2,540 would likely open the door for a price increase towards $2,700 and potentially even $3,000.
