Ethereum Price Predictions Skyrocket Ahead of August Deadline
The cryptocurrency market has been abuzz with speculation about the price of Ethereum on August 5, 2026. A prediction market offered by Robinhood Derivatives, LLC is currently tracking the chances that the ETH price will reach certain thresholds at 3pm EDT.
The contract in question determines whether the price of Ethereum will be above $1,895 or below this value at the specified time. The market gives a 98% chance that the price will be above $1,900, and only a 3% chance that it will exceed $2,010.
The contract uses CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) to determine the final price, collecting 60 RTI prices at the last minute before expiration. The official value is then calculated as the average of these prices.
