Ethereum Price Rally Hits Resistance at $2.44K-$2.51K
Ethereum's explosive breakout has shifted the broader market structure decisively in favor of buyers, but the rally has now encountered significant resistance. ETH pulled back after reaching roughly $2.55K, and the market appears to be entering a corrective phase following the highly impulsive advance.
The daily chart shows that Ethereum completed a major structural breakout by clearing the long-standing descending trendline that had capped the market for months. The asset initially consolidated around the $1.83K-$1.97K decision-point zone before launching higher and decisively breaking through the resistance area of $2.44K-$2.51K.
However, sellers stepped in after ETH briefly pushed above this zone toward $2.52K, with the price now retreating to around $2.39K. A period of consolidation or a deeper correction would be technically reasonable after such an almost vertical rally.
