Ethereum Price Rally Imminent If Clarity Act Passes: Analysts Target $3,000
The upcoming vote on the Clarity Act has Ethereum investors eagerly anticipating a potential price rally. Analysts believe that if the act passes, ETH could break above $2,550 and reach as high as $3,000.
Ted Pillows notes that Ethereum's weekly chart shows the current price near $2,522, below the marked resistance at $2,546.78. However, the price remains above both the 50-week exponential moving average ($2,386.63) and the 50-week simple moving average ($2,470.83).
Pillows predicts that a reclaim of $2,550 could expose the next resistance around $2,800, potentially leading to his $3,000 target. Conversely, renewed rejection could direct price toward initial support around $2,180.
Michaël van de Poppe presents a shorter-term Ethereum price prediction through a one-hour chart, which shows ETH near $2,519 after rebounding from the $2,448 support area. He expects Ethereum price to outperform Bitcoin if lawmakers advance the Clarity Act, but notes that the current recovery is fragile and could be threatened by a breakdown below $2,448.
