Ethereum Price Spikes 1.52% as Institutional Demand Surges
Ethereum (ETHUSD) has seen a notable increase in its price, rising by 1.52% on September 11th to $2,496.69. This comes after a 7-day gain of 1.96%. The surge can be attributed to sustained institutional accumulation and positive momentum across spot Ethereum exchange-traded products.
Capital inflows into Ethereum were primarily driven by investors increasingly favoring Ether amid steady net allocations into spot ETFs, with specialized interest shifting toward staking-focused vehicles. This institutional demand has been complemented by strategic corporate treasury accumulation, which continues to absorb circulating coins directly from secondary markets.
The total volume of Ether committed to staking protocols reached historic highs, with over a third of the circulating supply locked in network validation. This ongoing reduction in exchange balance reserves has diminished immediate overhead sell pressure, allowing moderate buying volume to exert a more pronounced upward influence on price.
