Ethereum Price Struggles with Resistance at $1,900-$1,950 Range
Ethereum's price has been hovering above $1,850 after recovering from its June lows. The token had reached as high as $1,950 in July before its rally stalled.
The key resistance zone for Ethereum remains the $1,900-$1,950 range, which has repeatedly capped buying attempts. A decisive daily close above this zone would improve the technical outlook and potentially open up the path towards the psychological $2,000 level.
On the downside, initial support is near $1,845, followed by the broader $1,800 support zone that buyers successfully defended in July. A sustained move below $1,800 could weaken the current recovery structure and increase the risk of a return to the $1,700-$1,750 consolidation area.
Technical indicators suggest buyers still have a slight advantage, but momentum has clearly moderated. The Chaikin Money Flow remained positive at 0.03, indicating capital inflows continue to marginally outweigh outflows. However, this indicator has declined significantly from its July peak near 0.20, suggesting buying pressure has become less aggressive as Ethereum approaches resistance.
