Ethereum Price Surge Leaves Bitcoin in the Dust
The Ethereum price rally on July 27 saw ETH surge by around 4%, roughly three times the gain of Bitcoin, which rose by about 1.4% that day.
The three key drivers behind this rally were sustained ETF inflows, staking supply limits, and the AiFi narrative.
Ethereum's recent outperformance over the broader market was driven by sustained ETF inflows since July 11, ending eight consecutive weeks of net outflows. According to SoSoValue data, ETH ETFs marked their fifth consecutive day of net inflows on July 23.
The second driver was staking dynamics. On July 27, CryptoTimes reported that more investors were entering Ethereum staking than leaving, with validators locking more ETH and reducing the supply available for selling in the market.
