Ethereum Price Surges 2.5% Amid Institutional Buying and Validator Confidence

The price of Ethereum (ETH) has risen by 2.5% to $1,911, outperforming a flat Bitcoin and driven primarily by sustained institutional accumulation via spot ETFs and on-chain staking demand.

This uptick follows a recent decline in Ethereum's validator exit queue, which fell to zero for the first time since September 2025, indicating strong validator confidence and reducing potential selling pressure from unstaking.

Major staking providers like Lido and Coinbase facilitate these exits, and supporting the momentum was persistent institutional demand, with BlackRock's Ethereum ETFs seeing $99.2 million in net inflows over five days ending July 24.

The move is anchored by continued capital deployment into U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs, with cumulative net inflows topping $11 billion.
