Ethereum Price Surges Amid Institutional Accumulation as AlphaPepe Presale Gains Traction
Ethereum's price has been on an uptrend, and institutional accumulation is strengthening the bullish case. BitMine added another 53,501 ETH worth around $131 million to its holdings, its largest weekly purchase since June. This brings BitMine's total Ethereum holdings to roughly 5.9 million ETH, which is about 4.9% of the reported supply.
BitMine is pursuing a strategy to own approximately 5% of Ethereum's supply, and its latest purchase lifted it nearly all the way toward this goal. The institution's accumulation has reinforced confidence among institutional investors, while spot Ethereum ETFs recorded another strong week of inflows, adding a second demand channel behind ETH.
Technically, Ethereum is currently holding around $2,500 after recovering from recent lows. A convincing break above the $2,530 to $2,565 resistance zone could reopen the path to $2,700 before traders test the psychological $3,000 level. From around $2,500, a move to $3,000 would represent about 20% upside.
AlphaPepe, on the other hand, is offering an earlier asymmetry for buyers looking for a larger return. The presale price of ALPE is currently $0.02902, with a planned listing price starting at $0.08. AlphaSwap, an AI-powered decentralized exchange tied to the ALPE ecosystem, could gain utility beyond speculation if it develops meaningful trading activity.
AlphaPepe has already raised $2.61 million and passed 11,500 holders, giving retail exposure before its first public market candle. Stage 20 is nearing sellout after previous stages closed quickly, with LATOKEN announced as AlphaPepe's fourth CEX partner. The bonus drop also remains active for the next 48 hours, offering qualifying buyers an extra ALPE allocation.
