Ethereum Price Volatility Ahead as Glamsterdam Upgrade Testing Continues

The Ethereum Foundation has started testing the Glamsterdam upgrade on the Plataberget testnet ahead of its planned mainnet release. This is an important step as it brings changes to several parts of the network, including gas pricing and block production.

The current test is not a mainnet launch, but rather an early testing stage. The next major step will be the Plataberget fork on August 20, followed by broader testnet work before any move to mainnet.

The Ethereum price prediction is being closely watched, with some traders believing that a weekly close above $2,500 would confirm the end of the ETH bear market. However, if ETH fails to hold its current position, there's a possible retest of $1,900.
