Ether prices fell on Wednesday, declining by 1.19% to trade near $1,900.

The second largest cryptocurrency's market capitalization stood at around $301.36 billion.

Despite the daily decline, Ether has shown strength over the past month, gaining 21.04%. However, it remains down 35.97% year to date and has fallen 50.09% compared with the same period last year.

The recent monthly gains suggest renewed buying interest, but longer term losses show that the recovery remains incomplete.
