Ethereum Sees Record Institutional Demand as Whale Buying Surges

Ethereum's price has been gaining attention as institutional investors re-enter the market. In July, spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $365 million in net inflows, their strongest monthly performance this year.

The surge in ETF demand was accompanied by Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, who purchased 1,337 ETH worth approximately $2.5 million just two days after selling his previous holdings. This sudden change of heart suggests that Hayes views Ethereum's recent weakness as a buying opportunity rather than a sign of a prolonged correction.

The dual wave of ETF demand and whale accumulation has strengthened bullish sentiment around Ethereum, raising the question: Is Ethereum preparing for its next breakout? While short-term volatility is likely around the $1,950 resistance, sustained buying pressure could eventually trigger a breakout toward $2,200. As long as Ethereum continues to hold above $1,850, the broader recovery structure remains favorable for bulls.
