Ethereum Sees Record Transaction Volume as Low Fees Boost Network Growth
Ethereum's transaction volume has reached an all-time high, driven by significantly lower gas fees and expanding decentralized finance activity.
The network processed approximately 200 million transactions in the first quarter of this year, the highest quarterly total ever recorded. Daily activity has also reached nearly 2 million transactions, supported by stablecoin transfers, DeFi trades, and Layer-2 settlements.
Lower fees have made it easier for users to send money, trade cryptocurrencies, and participate in decentralized applications. This technological advancement has opened up opportunities for more people to use Ethereum, including developers who can now implement their ideas without facing high expenses.
